Last Entry: Gisela wrote about having baby Kurt, who eventually grew up into a child. The family got a couple of cats who were expecting kittens by the end of the round. Gisela and Benjamin taught Kurt his toddler skills and much socializing took place.
FAMILY TREE:
This is the family tree for the Isleen family, which is where Gisela is from. Benjamin was a uni townie when they met and fell in love. They have their one son Kurt, and 3 blood nieces, and nephews from Giesla's siblings as well as an "adopted" niece in the alien-born Elenore. Her twin sister Anneliese has Gina with her finance Kiyoshi, although the two fell in love in college they have not desired to get married and so just live together with their daughters. Kiyoshi was abducted, and had an alien baby Elenore in previous rounds and Anneliese has raised her like a daughter. The sister's older brother Franz married Biyu Kimon, a member of a fellow founding family, and has had two sons, Ulrich and Jian.

Love can be an exciting thing, but it can also be cruel and hurtful. I thought she was over him. We had talked about Denis before, how they had a thing in high school, but I thought it was done. To have her so blatantly flirt with him in front of me, I just, nothing hurts worse. We got home after that party and I knew I was going to need time before I could even look at her again. So I focused on our son. He had started school and needed help with his homework, so I helped him. I saw Gisela had cooked a fancy dinner for us but I wasn't hungry, and a fancy dinner wasn't going to fix anything.
I spent a lot of time in the beginning outside with the telescope. I didn't want to be in the house yet, and I was grateful that Gisela seemed to understand my anger and hurt and let me be. She was around but never pushed it. I just wasn't ready to talk to her.
I am sure Kurt sensed something was wrong since Gisela and I were almost never in the same room as each other, but he filled his time watching TV and playing with the cats after he was through with his homework. He is a good kid and I made sure to keep spending time with him, making sure he sensed as little as possible about what was going on and knowing he was loved, even if Gisela and I weren't talking much.
The cats did have kittens late one night. Four kittens to be exact, they were named Billy, Tiffany, Christine, and Cate. We didn't want to keep the kittens so animal control was called and all 4 were taking to the shelter. I'm sure there are people out there who will want them, much like Biyu did and it will help them with their dreams. I was pretty sure additional kittens were going to be on their way as well, because I saw the cats head right back into the cat house.
Shortly after the kittens were born and then taken by animal control, Gisela was sitting in the dining room when I came to check on the cats' food bowls. She brought up the kittens in a general conversation. I responded, my hurt and anger having lessened, and without really realizing it until later I found myself sitting a the table and talking about all kinds of things, including memories of training Kurt to use the potty when he was little. It was comfortable and reminded me a lot of when we were in college.
With spring on its way Gisela took time out to start getting the garden ready to be planeted again. I think she really wanted to get Kurt into helping with it as well. She spent so much time lately in getting things ready the nature enthusiast invited her to the hobby lot. I was already a member there from when I was in university and had gotten the gold badge in gardening.
Kurt has been doing so well in school he came home with an A+ report card. I was lucky enough to be home in time to cheer for him and it was very exciting. I know he has worked hard on keeping up with his homework. He may tend to be more serious than other kids, but he still is goofy in his own way. He's taken a bit of a liking to his mom's ant farm, I know she enjoyed studying them due to her interest in science.
Late one night Gisela and I found ourselves alone in the living room and she expressed how much she'd missed me. I told her it had been hard on me to see her flirting with Denis like that, but I guess enough time had passed I no longer was overly angry about it and much of the hurt had passed. She was, after all, one of my best friends as well as my wife. I didn't pull away when she went to kiss my hand the next time. I knew I couldn't stay mad at her forever, I loved her too much for that, and while I may never hold all the pieces of her heart, I know she is mostly mine and chose me.
Gisela wanted to host a party, she had kept herself out of her social network quite a bit while she gave me time to work through everything and she missed her friends and family. So we invited many people over, and Kurt even got a chance to meet his aunt Anneliese. It was a wonderful party and I know it made Gisela very very happy.
We had been working in the garden a lot, and Kurt had also been a big help. Now that spring was officially here we expanded the garden, planted some trees and bushes, and even dug out a small pond in the corner of the yard. I hope to teach Kurt to fish one day, but with all the work we had done Gisela said she wanted to see if we could make it into the garden club, so she called them over. Right in the middle of the inspection the cats had their next litter of kittens. Another 4 kittens made their way into the world as the garden club was finishing up. We did make it into the club and got the wishing well to place in the yard. I will probably ask to join soon as well.
We called to send the kittens off to the shelter just like last time, but apparently Gisela had trouble letting go of this batch of kittens. We had 2 more male and 2 more female kittens who were named John, Joshua, Naomi, and Stephanie. I felt bad that Gisela apparently really wanted to keep at least some of the kittens this time, but I believe more were on their way.
We decided it was time to take Kurt to the lake, since he was old enough now to play on the playground and have fun there. We also enjoyed talking with other people who were there and I played some with Kurt as well. It was a nice trip, but we were all very tired when we got back home from that trip.
Life continued in much the same way it had and now that Gisela and myself were on the same page again most of the time we did more as a family. Gardening was a common pasttime, trying to keep all the plants happy so they would produce good vegetables. It will be nice to have all the fresh food. Kurt also asked me for lessons on the candy machine, and while I am not quite Gisela in terms of cooking I can hold my own and so I was happy to teach him.
We have so many birthdays coming up and Gisela's was first. It was hard to believe she was going to be considered an "old" lady. She still looks good to me, but she wanted to throw a big party with most of her friends and family there. So she called everyone up and asked them to come celebrate with us. Both of her siblings showed up, and while Kiyoshi stayed home to take care of the girls, Biyu and the 2 boys came. So many neighbors and friends from the town were also there. We did not invite Marylena or Denis, however, as neither of us wanted to possibly have drama and we weren't sure how Marylena felt about Gisela either.
Kurt has been learning how to fish, and the cats did indeed have one more set of kittens. Only three this time, but we named them Josh, Catie, and Travis. They were also sent off to the shelter, and this time I verified with Gisela she was ok with it. Gisela did go shopping to buy clothes she felt more comfortable in, but next is my birthday, and Kurt is ready to become a teenager. I'm not sure either Gisela or I is ready for that, but it's almost here regardless.
I think that catches up on all the happenings, although I'm sure there are things I'm not thinking of, but that's all I can think of to write about right now.

Hi world,
I'm Kurt and I live in a place called Breeze Point. Mom and dad gave me this book to write in. They weren't getting along very much, so I spent a lot of time in my room.
Mom spent a lot of time on the computer, but then this crazy haired person came by, and gave her a plaque and she started kind of glowing a little bit. She said it was because she likes science so much.
Sometimes I get to bring home friends for school and it's fun to play with them.
Mom had a birthday and grewed up. I got a bronz in farming too. Mom says her and dad are gold and one day I can be too. I like what moms called thinkering, better though.
Well I guess that's it.
