Why Maxis tortures poor growing up sims I will never know, but these outfits were clearly changed. This is Alon Kimon (Christa and Chen's adopted son) and Becca Rauscher (Out first Gen 2, she is Akinyi and Bruce's daughter).
After Makeovers
Ah, now I feel that the sims can begin to tell their story. We gave Becca back her longer hair, and a much cuter outfit to suit her, and Alon's hair got a much needed style and some clothes to better suit him as well. Now onto the journals

Last Entry: The last time we saw Becca she was escaping the turmoil of her house. Her mom had just given birth to the 6th child, right after her sister, Ekene, had given birth to her first son. In all the chaos Becca got demoted at work and lost a scholarship, and could not get out of her funk, so she left for college. Alon, ready to experience college left the home he found in Ame and Ricky to move into the dorms.

I have made it successfully to college. I didn't bother to worry about anyone bringing me here, I just made it on my own. The house is insane with the 2 new babies, and Enu as a little kid now, I just couldn't stay. Anyway, I am here at Sim State and am studying Political Science. It's been a pretty interesting topic. It's the end of my sophomore year, and actually quite a lot has happened. First I had to decide what to study, and then I called up the school when I was at the dorm and declared my major. They set me up with a list of classes and I got started right away on working. As soon as I had my first class and knew what the final paper needed to be about I sat down and got to work on that right away each quarter. That gave me time to work on my legal skills. I've managed to pass The Soap Box and You, Feudalism: Serf's Up!, Patriotism: Why Ever Country Is Worse Than Yours, and Lab: Making Your Own Monarchy. Let's see, I've also joined the Greek house Tri-Point and got into the Secret Society.
Well let's see, other than working really hard at the school stuff, mom and dad used to come down just about every night my freshman year. They didn't come up quite as often my Sophomore year, but it was just crazy. They always came and played poker with all of us at the dorms. Of course, we played a lot of poker.
Well, Alon and I are moving into the Greek house, since it was going to be empty with Kiyoshi graduating so I better get packing.

I'm not sure why I was so worried about leaving for college. So far the first 2 years have gone really well. I decided to study Math. It seemed to be the most appropriate for a criminal. You've got to know who is shorting you. Anyway, I'm here studying math, and hanging out a lot with Becca. Our friendship at home has grown and, while there are a lot of other girls I'm more attracted to look wise, well Becca knows me. We grew up together, and she knows my dreams and goals and doesn't shy away from them. I'm starting to fall in love with her.
It made it hard at first, because her parents were ALWAYS at the dorms. I think they wanted to get out of the house as much as Becca did. Heh. Anyway, even though she isn't studying the same things I am we spend a lot of time studying and working on our dreams together. Of course when she isn't around I have to give myself an "atta boy" to keep getting through all these term papers.
I did manage to get into the Secret Society, basically right after Becca did. (I think she probably pulled some strings.) Other than that, I did get into the Greek house. Becca and I are moving in there since everyone there graduated this year. I'm sure there will be some new freshman coming in that we can get joined before we graduate.
Well I hear Becca calling for help, so I better go.

Patrick Bar - Male YA - Popularity - Leo - LTW: Become Hall of Famer - Major: Drama

Tragedy stuck today when Patrick Bar, living alone in a house on the campus of Sim State University tried to put out a tree that caught fire during a freak lightening storm earlier today. Patrick, had just completed his 1st semester as a Junior at Sim State when this tragedy occurred. From what we can tell of the reports, when the strange lightening storm passed over the campus it struck a tree in Patrick's yard. As the storm was over as quickly as it began there wasn't enough time for rain to put out the fire. Not wanting the fire to spread to the house he quickly picked up a fire extinguisher to put out the small fire. That's when the fates took a cruel turn. While Patrick was busy putting out the small fire a wind came up and caused the fire to rapidly spread encircling and catching Patrick in it's grip.
Patrick tried to find a way out but was unable to do so and within minutes was consumed by the hungry fire.
Patrick was a bright student, with a bright future. He enjoyed Karaoke and throwing parties for his friends. He will be greatly missed, most of all by his fiance Kirabo who resides in Breeze Point.
