The muse has just decided that Archangel Michael could not possibly have a nickname. He simply wouldn't allow it, being the hard-nosed pompous bastard that he is. He would insist that everyone call him Michael, even Cix, even his parents, because it is "part of the tradition" and god knows he can't do anything to be different.
