My Week In Review 5/27/11

End Of The Week Roundup: 5/27/11
Another week has gone by and we didn’t suffer a horrible gruesome end from the rapture occurring. Unless of course it did and we’re all just going to hell. Either way if this is hell, living with the woman that I love, having friends ,family, an awesome dog, and the ability to work on my own stuff while I’m at work - I’m OK with hell! (I shouldn’t say that since I know when I eventually switch jobs I won’t be able to work on said projects at work. C’mon projects start giving me supplemental income! If you pay for my car steadily I can quit complaining about the day job’s horrible lack of pay!) Seriously though life is good, busy, but good. Had a decent week and while I’m wishing I was still in bed with Leah right now I have absolutely no real complaints.
Life
- The raptor’s didn’t wipe out humanity last Saturday!
- Leah and I setup a nice little night out with a few friends at the Taphouse (Rex, Rob, Matt, Megan, Jason, Brenna, and Brooke)
- Went over to celebrate a combination of my Cousin and Uncle’s birthdays as well as my other cousin having graduated
- We had Leah’s parents over for steak and veggies on the grill and so Leah could go over a few things with her mother
- Speaking of steak week (I just made that word up) I went out with my parents to J. Alexanders for more steak. Mmm steak! Almost every day this week. Kind of scary actually
- Started taking care of Dezi for the week. Leah and I will be watching 2 dogs all weekend. Scary thought.
- Registry - Done!
- Honeymoon plans - almost finalized!
- Setup a new clean theme for Horror Tree
- Fixed the Wordbooker plugin on Buy Zombie so it posts properly to Facebook again, hopefully it stays working this time
- Watched Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
- Watched The Next Three Days
- Watched Shrek Forever After
- Laid out ideas I’ve been kicking around in my head for a *gasps* vampire story (that actually fits well in the zombie universe I’ve mentally put together)
- THOUGHT about changing around my submission for an anthology from awhile ago and turning it into a novella but haven’t actually started working on that
