My Week In Review 2/11/11

End Of The Week Roundup: 2/11/11
It’s been so cold out that I haven’t wanted to do pretty much anything. That being the case I of course had no options but to get a LOT done this week, so I did! Aside from the usual work there was a lot of writing ahead for Buy Zombie and planning, some wedding planning, some cleaning, and some hating the snow. I seriously think I’m forgetting something off of this list as well.
Life
- Leah and I had lunch with Rose
- Took my parents to the airport for a vacation to Hawaii. Not jealous. Honest
- Picked up my cousin Molly and hung out with her a bit as she’s staying at my parents while they are out of town
- More snow shoveling
- Ali stated obedience classes
- Leah and I met with the florist, flower talks have begun
- Google is a bunch of asshats for making a better free wedding site, lucky we haven’t given ours out yet
Projects
- The Horror Tree has a new logo!
- Added our latest book reviewer, B. B. Lynn, to Buy Zombie’s About Page
- Buy Zombie‘s Writeup of Dead Wait was briefly mentioned on Dead Wait’s Blog
- Author Patrick D’Orazio added a link to Buy Zombie on his blog roll! I love it when authors enjoy BZ and our reviews of their work.
- Changed the sidebar on The Horror Tree to display 10 upcoming submissions instead of 5
- E-mailed Buy Zombie revamp ideas out to the staff for feedback
- Speaking of Buy Zombie, lined up a few more guest posts
- Watched Takers
- Started getting around to finishing Caprica, semi-unmotivated to as I know there is no Season 2 and the season is only supposed to get better from where I’m at
- Caught up on House
- Watched The Tourist
- Another 300 words into the short story I’m currently working on. So slow but I feel it’ll be worth it
