Yes there is a new Blackberry Bold that’s a small upgrade to mine (actually it’s really not ‘that’ huge upgrade wise so I don’t feel too bad about it.) An extra 256 onboard and flash memory, a 2gb included memory card, less talk and music playback time? Really I’m not too concerned on there being a new Bold.
This is why I’m angry. After wanting them to announce a real upgrade to the Pearl for years it’s coming. DAMN you RIM I don’t have the spare money to shell out on a second new cell phone this year. I guess I will admit I don’t thjink I’d want to go down to the 300×400 screen after having 480×360. For the most part all of the feautres are the same too (with the upgraded memory features of the new Bold over mine.) It’s just that I enjoyed having a much smaller phone.
Honestly though I can’t complain. I’m pretty much addicted to my new phone and if you ask anyone who sees me with it (specifically Leah when we’re out in public and I can’t stop playing with my phone…) you’ll know I’m not heart broken over it. It is 100x more useful than the previous Pearl I was still stuck with and is so much easier to use. Still. I pretty much called it in my last post on the Bold that this announcement had to be due as it was originally what I was holding out for.
