Strange holidays set aside, today is pretty intense. I'm waiting to see if a friend of mine gets fired today. I really hope he doesn't. I don't know the circumstances behind the situation, but he is very upset about it. It is easy to worry and fret and I am really trying hard not to do that. I have plenty to do today, but it is hard to focus on the important things.
The web-site is finally up and running properly. I had no idea there was an email problem with the site. I hope no one has tried to contact me. It would show the message was sent, but alas, that message would be lost somewhere out in cyber space, probably picked up by some advanced alien life forms who are now really confused on the goings on of earth. I can see it now:
"Zorg, we got another hyper transmission from earth. Why doesn't our EarthSpam Blocker work?"
"Sorry, Klimzar, but we can't filter out all strains of EarthSpam because they are constantly creating more and more useless transmissions like 'Hot Chicks Need You" ,so our system is overloaded. Don't worry. When the Inter-Galactic Congress passes the bill to allow open space pesticides, we will get rid of those pesky humans AND their silly transmissions."
Yeah, I'm tired. I was up way to late last night. Or perhaps I should say I was up way to early this morning. I think I will go celebrate tin can day by opening up a can of pop and lift it in reverence to a great writer, Mr. Poe and I guess to General Lee as well. The Texans just want an excuse for a BBQ. I don't need an excuse to eat popcorn!
