They were sold? I need to look that up. I hope they don't close it down; I love having that industrial setting right in the heart of (what has become) yuppieville.

closed down. city wants to keep it industrial, or at least commercial, but it's in an awkward spot, really, for that sort of thing nowadays.

It is a very weird spot, but that's what makes it so cool :) I also like going back to the recycling scrap area and watching the huge cranes toss cars around like they're toys.
