Could someone give me a quick run down of some good Mastermind binds and why they're useful? Right now, I mostly just dogpile of of my people on one guy with the Attack/Aggressive button that's already supplied and wanted to see if there was a better way of doing it

Anyways, you need to take the first shot (or generate aggro some other way) to effectively get bodyguard to work. For example, you aggro a guy with a SMG burst, he and his friends will shoot back at you, your bodyguards will spring into action and waste people. If foes aren't attacking you, your pets will probably not respond.
The best way to see how this works is to go solo some even level minions. You will shoot at a group, your pets will take a bit of the damage and then start mopping up.
Using Bodyguard, it's possible to make a hands-on approach MM that focuses slots/choices on their attacks (for the first 20 levels or whatever), using the pets as mostly meat shields (any damage they do is bonus). They might not be quite as effective as your typical "press the button, get experience" MM but it's a blast to play, and you really feel like the 'leader' of a squad instead of a third party.
It's important to note that many MMs don't bother with the primary attacks since they suck without lots of slotting and attention. If you're that kind of MM, you'll probably not use bodyguard very much, but keep 'all pets follow defensive' bound to a key for those times in a group when you are taking a bit too much heat. With all 6 pets out, you'll take only 1/4 of the damage you normally would, which is hotte.
