It would seem as though I have not done a proper entry in this journal of mine for some time. Then again, I have not been feeling quite myself these last few days. I'm starting to believe that was the effect of the collar, but I'll disregard the details of that. There is one important thing I wish to announce to everyone about ( Read more... )

I would like to know how much a ticket is, sir! It just wouldn't seem right to me to see you play for free after all the effort you're putting into the act.

I'm not entirely sure how much fees are, but I think it is depending on the customer as well. For the more common folk, it is between five to ten gold, while the nobility are charged between ten to twenty gold. But if you do not have the money, I do not think it appropriate to shun people away.

[ooc: I am totally guessing on the currency, btw. I used gold with Frederic in a thread to buy his baton back and the mods didn't seem to mind.]

Well... if you say so, sir. That isn't expensive though. Will they ask for some sort of verification?

In this country they consider those without status and collars as 'commoners', while those who are of higher status are 'nobility'. So I think that is how everything will be separated.

[laughs lightly] That's a step up from "foreigners."

Mm, thank you, sir. I hope I'll be able to see you play this Sunday.

So it would seem, young miss.

But you are most welcome, and I am glad to know you will be coming. However, I should introduce myself since I have all but forgotten my manners. My name is Frederic Francois Chopin, a pleasure to meet you.

Speaking to... a maestro... ah!!! What informalities have I committed! I'm sorry, Master Chopin. Please excuse my ingenuity. It is more than an honor to meet you.

Please calm down, Miss Linali. It is all right, truly it is. But I am flattered nonetheless.

Right. Excuse me. Wow... so even famous people have been brought here? And you're playing this Sunday. I can't miss it for the world now!

I would suppose I am considered famous, though I do not think I have the same artistic skills as Mozart or Bach. I will do my best to perform for everyone and hopefully they will like it.

You are too modest, sir. I'm certain you will be loved in the theatre.

As a boy, many considered me the next Mozart. I still wonder why they said such things, since I do not think I am upon the same artistic scale as he was. Then again, they could have only said it because I was born with a talent for the piano like Mozart was.
