[The recording has been going on for a very long time, but up until now it's been indistinguishable from the other background noise someone might be hearing from their own cell, if they're among the test subjects. But then there's footsteps in the hallway outside -- not so unusual, until the door opens suddenly and there's the sound of something dragging on the floor.]
[There's a,] Get in there! [followed by a heavy, skidding thud that hides a yelp that's almost too weak to hear at all and a few smaller thumps as various limbs make contact with the floor before the limp body to which they're attached halts its trip across the cell. Someone outside mutters something about a 'witch' along with various other choice words as the door closes again and the footsteps disappear down the hall once more. After they're gone, it's silent in the cell once more, but for the very same background noise that was there when it was empty.]
