In the short time I have been here, I have been able to research the surroundings of this city and about this book which allows others to communicate with one another. It's simply fascinate that a book can not only project one's words for others to see, it can also project one's voice for others to hear. Although in all honesty, it feels so strange

....The theatre was so empty without you. But-- you're going to the party this Friday, right? You definitely should play. Everyone will be delighted to hear your music again.

[ voice ]

I'm sorry young lady, I'm afraid I don't remember your name or face even though you know me. But even if my mind can't remember any of my friends, I'm certain my heart does. Which is why I have decided to go to the party on Friday. And even with my disinterest of public concert playing, I would be more than happy to play for people who call me a friend.

[ voice ]

Oh, I'm sorry, I should have reintroduced myself, but I got so excited to hear your voice again... I'm Lenalee Lee. Back in my world, I often heard your music, so when I first arrived here and learned that you were in the city... it was as if I was meeting a star. [laughs] I think I became an even greater fan because I got to know you and not just your compositions.

Are you settling in all right? It sounds like you still have your house, and your friend Polka...! She works in the greenhouse with a friend of mine.

[ voice ]

It's quite all right Miss Lenalee, I'm rather glad to know someone cherishes my music as much as you do. I would be more than happy to get to know you again as well, it's the least I can do for unfortunately forgetting about this world and everyone.

And yes, I've been able to gather my bearings in this city again. I'm also very glad to know Polka is here and safe. I may even ask for my old job back in this city, provided I am even allowed to.

[ voice ]

[skycrossing]

Please, don't apologize. It's nothing you could have helped. I'm happy to know that at least you're earnest about recovering all of that time...

[laughs] Well, I doubt anyone would stop you. Perhaps you'll meet your employers at the party, if the city's orchestra will be playing.

[ voice ]

I cherish those close to me and the times I spent with them. To forget them so suddenly, I feel I need to find those lost memories of the times I shared so I don't see them in such sorrow.

[He chuckles a little.] That is quite true, Miss Lenalee. I'm certain my employers will remember me even if I don't remember them, so it may work out in the end.

[ voice ]

[skycrossing]

.... hmm, that in itself is touching. Thank you, Mr. Chopin.

It must! I'll even gather your fans among us if needed, to convince them to take you back.

[ voice ]

You're very welcome, Miss Lenalee. To see the happiness of others around me and seeing they are doing well is something I always strive for.

[He sounds very touched by that.] That truly touched my heart, Miss Lenalee. You are such a compassionate and kind young lady, I'm certain the man whom comes to love you will be a luck one.

[ voice ]

We're alike in that way. Makes you smile to see your loved ones safe and smiling too, right?

[GOES REEEEEED fumble fumble u-um e-embarrassment. d'oi.] A-ah--... Thank you, Mr. Chopin. Well...! I'm looking forward to seeing you in a few days. Where are you staying now though? With friends or at the inn?

That view is very much like my own, Miss Lenalee.

I'm staying in the inn for now, since I have yet to find where Polka is living. I figure I'll find my own place soon, since I seem to have a house here established already.

[ voice ]

H-hmm. That's why we got along, Maestro.

The inn is accomodating. After all, most newcomers stay there the first month or so after arriving here. Have you actually met with Polka yet? I'm sure she'll know where your house was.
