I just bought the most recent Eyedea & Abilities album and it's a little disappointing.
Greg, if it turns out i don't like it, i'm looking to lend and then hopefully sell it your way.
Maybe it's just because i'm not in the battle mood. I figure it's good for, "Shit, i need to be pumped. NOW!" The last track is pretty dope. It makes me think of a red sky just before the sunsets one an off night. One of those nights when you can taste something foul in the air, and then rain licks the windows at 3am waking you up in a sweat. That cut's pretty tight now that i think about it.
It's a showcase for Abilities as a DJ/Producer rather than Eyedea as an MC, although Eye gets plenty of shots to rap faster than i can keep up with (almost).
I'ma bomb windows with magnum 440s.
