So, basically, Northwestern is amazing. Granted, it took 7 1/2 hours to drive there, but still, amazing. Evanston is a cool city, at least the part we were in. My hotel was three blocks from the campus and right in the middle of all sorts of neat restaurants and stores. The campus is basically on the water. The admissions building was a block from Lake Michigan, which is gorgeous. It's huge; it seriously looks the ocean. Brilliant. There were buildings covered in ivy and lovely landscaping and my hilarious tour guide Meredith said that the second floor of the Deering Library looks like the library from Harry Potter. So, obviously, that's a plus. Also, I can take the train from Jefferson City to Chicago and then the subway/metro/el to Evanston. Maybe we'll see some buffalo!
Off to go flail and finish watching Mister Foe since my internet connection died very rudely halfway through last time. Hallo Jamie Bell :D
