OMG HARRRRRRY POTTTTTAH.
GOT THERE AT 8, 10TH IN LINE (5TH IN THE THEATRE,YEAYUH).
FIRST, I LIKED IT. AS A MOVIE. NOT REALLY AS PART OF "HARRY POTTER," BUT AS A HP MOVIE, V. GOOD. THE BEGINNING WITH HARRY & THE MINTS & THE WAITRESS: HI-LARIOUS. THEN DUMBLEDORE WAS CREEPIN': THAT GIRL WAS PRETTY HARRY, DO YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON HERMIONE, HARRY? IF YOU LIKE HER, CHECK THIS BOX.
I LOVED THE FIRST POTIONS CLASS (HERMIONE'S HUGE HAIR, SEAMUS'S MANDATORY FACE-BLOWING-UP SCENE, ETC). LOVED SLUGHORN'S PARTIES (LOL MCLAGGEN -- HE'S GREAT). LOVED BELLATRIX, THAT BITCH IS CAHRAYZEE. LOVED RON & LAVENDER, COMPLETELY TOPSHOP-ED OUT. LOVED DRACO, FINALLY GOT MORE SCREEN TIME. LOOOOVED THE FELIX FELICIS SCENE -- HARRY ON FELIX IS TOTALLY JUST DANRAD IRL, HYSTERICAL.
On the other hand ... (here is where I'll bitch about what I hated): - BURROW SCENE, WTF (blowing up the burrow? MOLLY WEASLEY THINKS NOT, YOU BITCH!; since when are they in the middle of a field? also could REMUS/TONKS be any more AAAAWKWAAAARD? NO.) - harry/ginny kiss, no. weird. - NO FIGHT AT HOGWARTS? WTFFFFF!? I WANTED TO SEE HARRY VS. SNAPE SO BADDDD ("DON'T CALL ME A COOOOOWAAAARD!") - nobody seemed to care about anything other than ron snogging lavender. i mean, apparently they all knew about the vanishing cabinet, but it was just whatevsies. -total overlooking of SIRIUS, grimmauld place, the order, rufus scrimgeour, what the rest of the horcruxes could possibly be ... ack.
BUT OVERALL, YES. I ENJOYED IT. HAVING MOVIE MARATHON W/ ELLEN ON SATURDAY BEFORE WE SEE IT AGAIN. YEAH. BE JEALOUS.
