MY LIFE JUST GOT EXPONENTIALLY MORE TERRIFIC.
Not only did I just see Augustana live, at the end of the encore, the band including LOVE OF MY LIFE DAN LAYUS came into the crowd to play the last song and not only was my hand on his shoulder for about 10 minutes like an absolute lunatic, I got to hug him and we took pictures with him. HOLY SHIT. HE IS GORGEOUS.
I ALMOST HYPERVENTILATED. He talked about how "Fire" is about "sexual desire" and that scene in Big Fish when everything stops and you see the girl you're going to marry. Plus, when he was singing "Fire" and got to the "I'll make you come for hours" bit and laughed, I almost died. I NEEEEEEED HIM.
