Unnecessary Productions Present: An Unncessary List of Movies I Saw in the Past 24 Hours, by Kelsey
- Yesterday: very good.  Flaker and I spent an hour and a half crammed in one of the tiny media rooms in the library at school watching this movie for contemporary issues, sweating (SO HOT IN THERE) and yelling at the screen. It's all in Zulu (I'm assuming that is the language because that was what the people called themselves) and vaguely difficult to pay attention to the subtitles when taking notes, but other than that, I really liked it. Sad, but with a good ending.
- Gran Torino: basically a two hour long essay on why Clint Eastwood is a bad ass. He literally growled five or six times and everyone in the theatre just laughed and basked in the awesome (except the guys next to me who just kept saying "aww shit!"). Good ending. Yeah, I cried a little, shut up.
- The Curious Case of Benjamin Button: great. I waited forever to see this movie and it was better than I expected. It was three hours long (ye gods) and I saw it about half an hour after I walked out of the theatre for Gran Torino, but I totally didn't fall asleep. I also didn't enjoy the extremely loud woman in the back who went "AWWWWWW!" everytime they showed the baby or cried louder than I think anyone has ever cried at a movie. It was like a scream-cry, what is that? Only thing that bothered me was how Brad Pitt's (whose gorgeousness I never really appreciated, I guess) accent kept making him say "foyst" and "poyfect."
