An unstoppable force.
I finally saw The Dark Knight yesterday. It was amazing, beyond intense. I started crying a few times too. This awful cold didn't help very much either. Non-spoilers: Heath Ledger was incredible. And rather scary. He was up to his neck in the Joker and so far in that it was impossible to tell where he ended and the Joker began. It was brilliant and horrifying at the same time, with the twitchy eyes and the pauses and licking his lips all the time. Jesus. I've heard a little about Oscars and Heath's performance and people saying that it's only because he died but personally, I think that if he was nominated it would be because of his outstanding performance.
Basically, the entire cast was great, phenomenal. I'm glad they casted Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachel because I thought Katie was boring in Batman Begins. Aaron Eckhart was awesome, as (of course) was Gary Oldman (!).
Ugh, I kind of have more but I am feeling worse and am going to sign off. Until later, and all that.
