Saturday house updates...
Spray Foam Tuesday went pretty well.Because of the nature of the wall and the openings in it, we definitely made the correct choice......but I have too say, the denim insulation does give it a run ofr its money.
We have already wall-boarded the west kitchen wall, and started to demo the last of the main interior walls for this phase. Then we drywall the foyer, and jack up the new central support wall....then we will be ready to finish another kitchen wall and the downstairs half-bath.
Whew...
I am SO sick of going upstairs to cook and pee. We are also running out of walnut to burn....so we bought a cord and a half of split wood. Expensive when compared to free walnut, but the walnut is all odd pieces that we can not split easily.....maybe bonfire.....
Our cord and a half of split wood just arrived. New company, with a CUTE delivery driver named Ace.
Time to stack wood.....come by and say hello......and help of course....lol.....this is our heat for the season. We got a half cord of wind fallen fir, and a full cord of pine beetle killed Londgepole Pine. Looks like good stuff, and certainly a FULL amount...excellent.
