I've known for some time that the graphics on the Praetorian plaques were readable. For those who haven't read them, the plaque in question I am referring to is in the Nova Underground, and reads as follows:
Sepp see tagus kulas mooka, rassis koiduni tostis terra taevasse, ja kandus vagi. Tagus tulist edasi ja joud see aina keris uhkelt sonnas et ses voolab hundi veri. Teadsi keda hoida ja nemad hoidsid meiid koose olli meis vage.
Kangelased Suda
It only occurred to me recently that this might actually translate into something. Lo and behold, a pass through the Google translator tags a lot of the words as Estonian (most of them, in fact), and it translates into this:
The village blacksmith forged the sword, race, terra dawn lifted into the sky, and entered the army. Forged ahead and shoot it more and more power to the stove is proudly sonnas SES wolf blood flowing. I knew who to keep and they kept us meiid koose Olli power.
Heroes Suda
Now this may ultimately have nothing to do with anything, but this wasn't the complete gibberish I was anticipating.
