[Dende plops back on his rear once the ritual is over, panting heavily. Before him lay seven orange balls, all flashing in time with each other in a pulsating fashioned. The statue of Tetsurunga has disappeared, while the case remained empty in place.
Dende crawled over and picked up the six-star ball and hugged it close. He turned to Gokudera with a tired little smile]
W-we did it Gokudera! Tetsurunga's awake! Our Dragon's all finished!
[Gokudera looks around. So much from the house has disappeared thanks to S.A.M.M. that he CAN'T blame Dende... Not that he would.]
You didn't! Ah! Here!
[The teen sets down the Dragon Ball and grabs Dende, sitting down so he's cradled against him while he leans against the wall. There wasn't really anything else the kid could use for comfort. Not with how little was left, and the state their apartment was in.]
Go ahead and rest. [He won't go to sleep, though. After seeing something like that, he's sure that someone might get in the way.]

[Dende happily wraps his arms around Gokudera neck and snuggles up against him happily]
I can't wait... Gokudera... we're all going to be able to go home soon... you can meet my family... and I'll be able to meet Mr. Tenth and everything...
[His arms fold together beneath Dende's bottom as he leans back, allowing the Namekian to recline against him as he dozes]
Yeah, we can go home...
[His eyes shine warmly before he looks up and over at the Dragon Balls. Should he feel so guilty as he does... getting his hopes up like this? They'd already gotten this far...
What if S.A.M.M. could destroy them?
Gokudera swallows down all of his doubts, turning them into resolve. They WILL leave Cydonia. Him, Dende, and everyone else who has ever been kind to them. They would return safely, and even if S.A.M.M. wanted to fight them, he would not relent.]

[The teen picks up the one-star ball and turns it. No matter how he does, it seems to always face him.]

[Dende smiles into his head patting, and shakily stands up- offering the the six-star ball to Gokudera]
Here you go! I promised you the six-star ball Gokudera! The real one! Take good care of it okay?! You got to keep it safe, like Elder Moori did!
