[Hope had left his room after shutting off when he'd heard the ammo crates were being deployed. Confused it'd not taken him long to find the cause of the ammo deployment.

For some reason, he'd gone back into his room for a backpack and started to horde what he recognised as gun blade and handgun cartridges. He'd been checking his video feed for anyone who was injured or trapped, even running into and Healing Dean best he could before noticing Lightning's feed. He'd immediately headed towards the place shown in Lightning's feed.

He arrived on scene a few moments later. He'd been attempting to escape the notice of the cupid bots rather than fight them, because he knew that he'd be better off playing doctor than fighting. He was on the roof not long after initially setting out. He he offered his hand to help her up.]

[She just looks up at him, then at his hand, as she attempts to break the arrow in her leg to pull out the head. After a moment, and a sigh, she'll take his hand and let him help pull her to her feet, putting some but not much weight on that leg.]

[That cupid-bot hadn't flown far. From the other side of the complex, a ninja curses his fate as that robot, looking for its lost prey, spies him in the shadows of a seventh-floor window instead. There's a twang, a fleshy thwack, and a rather loud curse followed by a sharp, grating noise of metal ripping through metal.]

[Another moment passes, and then the ninja half-leaps, half-crawls onto the roof proper. A trio of cupid-bots rise ominously above the roofline, bows all drawn, just as Edge rolls onto his back, sweeping his arm towards them as the conclusion of several one-handed gestures. Lightning lashes down from the sky to ravage the demented love-archers; their charred remains fall out of sight.]

[Gasping for breath, Edge flops onto his back -- and, upside down, sees Lightning. An awkward moment passes.]

I swear on my crown this is a coincidence. I like this building because it's tall!

[Lightning is crouched at the edge of the pool, dripping wet and attempting to pull the arrow from her calf. She stopped, however, when Edge appeared and destroyed three bots with one spell.]

Your crown doesn't mean much here. [Still. She'll take him at his word for the moment, going back to trying to get that arrow out of her leg.]

But it means a lot to me -- Stop, stop! You're going to make it worse!

[He doesn't get up for a moment. It's mostly physiological shock, actually; his breathing is a bit on the ragged side. But he uses the moment to explain.]

The safest way to remove an arrow is cutting it out. Pulling it out is just going to make it worse. Here...

[He rolls to his knees, pushing himself up one-handed.]

If you've got a knife, that's best, but I can use your blade too. Just return the favor, okay?

[Shock? Worked. She blinks at him for a moment, then reaches into her thigh-pouch and pulls out a small survival knife, holding it out towards him with the blade ready to be pulled out.]

I won't be able to heal you once I get that one out of you. [She hears that ragged breathing. Might be best to leave that in unless there's a healer nearby.]
