Sasori had had no trouble finding the garage. (Then again, if you could mentally search for a location online, then input into an internal GPS, you'd probably find little difficulty in finding a place too.)
No, he main problem came from the fact that Deidara wanted to come along. Sasori had originally thought that this was going to be an easy trip. He'd run out to this Uzuuzu Garage, pick up what he wanted, then return home.
Sasori was certain this wasn't going to be the case, though. To him, all it ever seemed like Deidara did was get in the way, so, in an effort to avoid this, Sasori put up a rather cold front, avoiding conversation of any sort with the blonde.

Needless to say, the drive to the garage was rather dull, and only when he walked into the building did any life return to Sasori.
The welcome was nice, but he wasn't here to make small talk.

"I'm here about the spare car parts I put an ad out for."

"Oh, right," said Naruto, noding. "Well, come on in. I kept them in the back of the garage, out of the way. I wasn't sure when you were coming, exactly, so. . . "

Naruto led Sasori and the man following him inside. The garage wasn't too messy--There was a car he was working on, but since Sasuke had picked up his bike, things had been slow asnd Naruto had time to clean a little. Tools were spread out on one work table, and there was some paper work on another.

Naruto led them to the corner where the parts were, a small pile of used but functional parts. "It's mostly from a car that was totaled awhile back--most of it was functional, but the man didn't want to keep it. There are a few motorcycle parts too. . . if there's anything specific you're looking for, I could order it for you. . . "

eidara had started regretting insisting on accompanying Sasori to the garage about half way through the drive there. It had seemed like a good idea at the time, because he'd been really bloody bored, but he'd forgotten that attempting to annoy Sasori as a pasttime was exceptionally difficult: his skills at completely shutting a person out were second to none. He'd tried. Lord knew he'd tried. But his well of potential topics of conversation hadn't even run dry before he'd been driven to give up by the grim realisation that it was getting him absolutely nowhere ( ... )

Sasori was used to this sort of treatment from Deidara. It was only natural he'd act the same way back. Instead of giving the blonde an answer, Sasori stalled a step in his walking, lifted his heel, and stepped back on Deidara's toes. That was all.

Rejoining Naruto in the corner, his eyes flicked over the parts he was being offered. "There's nothing specifically I'd like to order," Sasori glanced up to finally look Naruto in the face with a rather blank stare. "but if you have a catalogue, I wouldn't mind looking through it to see if there's anything I want."

This guy was. . . really wierd. And giving Naruto the heebie jeebies (a good term for it, he though), but hey. Money was money, and it wasn't like the guy was asking for his soul, right?

"Yeah, I've got a few catalogs that you can look though, if you want," he said, shrugging. "Anyway, I'll grab them, and you can look through what you want. If you need any help, let me know. . . "

Naruto turned around and headed into the small office to grab two catalogues.

Deidara gave a little yelp of pain. Sasori might have been small, but being packed with intricate metal mechanisms, booby-traps and weapons did not make for a light person even if they were barely any more than five feet tall, and having that brought down on one's toes was not pleasant.

"Ow, man, I think you broke my foot!"

Sasori gave a nod towards Naruto, but waited for him to be gone before addressing Deidara. Turning towards him, Sasori showed no sympathy.

"What the hell do you think I'm getting these parts for? That was an idiotic question!" He gave an irritated huff. "Besides, you deserve to have your foot broken if you're just going to ask about... my stuff in public. I'd think you'd know better considering your line of work!"

If there was one thing Sasori loved to do, it was to scold Deidara.

Deidara glared at him reproachfully, ever-so-slightly cautiously shifting his weight back onto his trodden-on foot. It didn't really hurt very much, but he was still peeved.

"Well I dunno, do I?" he replied irritably. "I thought you just used ... y'know, computer bits, yeah, not spare car parts." He tilted his head a little more than usual to better glower at Sasori with his one eye, a bit like an indignant hawk, and added, "why, something wrong with you?"

Sasori glanced over his shoulder to give Deidara once of his hollow stares.
"What does it matter to you what I'm doing with these parts? Maybe I'd like to work on my car for once." He narrowed his stare into a glare to match the blonde's. "And no, nothing is wrong with me."

The back of his mind flickered to where Naruto was. The kid was taking too long with getting those catalogues.
Sasori hated to be kept waiting.

Naruto came back from the opffice, a sheepish grin on his face. "ahh, hey, sorry about that. I put the books in a wierd place, I have these hard copies but I've been doing most orders online recently. . . anyway, you can look through them. As for the car parts, let me know what you want and name a price." Naruto wasn't too picky, he was actually looking forward to getting stuff OUT of his garage.

He looked over at the blond man who had folled the customer in, and smiled briefly. (There seemed to be an air of aminosity--was he imagining it or was he finally getting a brief tingle of ninja-sense? HA! Jiraiya would laugh at THAT).

Naruto kept smiling, however. No use in being unfriendly to customers.
