High School is over officially with the exception of AP exams/classes, which will be devouring my life for the next two weeks. I guess the end of everything is always a little bittersweet; I'm so ready to move on, yet I know that I'm leaving something that I've grown so accustomed to. Overall, I'm glad it's over. I think we've come to that point in our lives where everyone is ready to move on.
So yay for the next 4 months, which will completely be dedicated to just spending tons of time with my friends and family and just livin' it up before August rolls around!!! Since most of us are going to be in the city for Senior Options, we can take advantage of chillin in Manhattan whenever, without having to worry about the train ticket fare :) Clubbing, Bars, Restaurants on weeknights. . .Here we come!
This weekend really sucked because of my Research Paper, which still isn't done. You may question why I'm writing this entry since I have so much other shit to do, but I need to take a break from diasporic literature for a little :D On Friday, I saw two chick flicks back to back: 13 going on 30 and Mean Girls. Mean Girls was funny in a stupid lame way, and 13 going on 30 was ADORABLE. What a cute movie...Oh yeah, and a Neil LOOKALIKE was in Mean Girls. It was CRAZY. ;)
On Saturday, I worked for most of the day, and then went out to Starbucks with Amna and tried the new StrawBerries & Cream Frap, which was the biggest dissapointment ever...grrr! Chocolate Brownie still rocks my world.
Sunday, I saw MHN, and it was cute. SRK did a fabuloso job acting, as usual. What I love about his movies is that they are never a dissapointment. And so what if he repeats his acting? ITS DAMN GOOD. . . so why stop a good thing? Cliche works for some people. It works for him. It works for Bollywood. Period.
I have to get back to work. Bye for now, kiddies. :)
