Ah. Summer at last.
I need new icons from the garden; it's transformed itself completely from last year. You should see it. I could live out there right now.
It's been a stressful couple of months, and this week was no exception. But I'm feeling relaxed and pleased. How can you feel anything but content after surrounding yourself with your blooms and greens, with the summer evening breeze flowing around you, and you're crunching a handful of sweet sugar peas you picked a moment ago? Yes, watering the beans, for me, is nirvana. The sun's just now on it's way down--9:30 at night!--the kids are in bed and the dog's finally tired enough to lie down quietly, and I have nothing on the agenda for the evening but reading, and bed.
