(no subject)
I know, I know, it's early, but I'm back at my dorm...slightly tipsy and feeling very feministic. Viva la Resistance! Earlier today I went and saw Something Corporate while signing up to join a group called NARAL (don't ask me what that stands for) but it's a group that supports Pro-Choice and John Kerry. And I don't know if it was the pop-punk music in the background, or the fact that I went Swing dancing earlier and my cute partner was near by, but I suddenly felt the need to do something, productive at least. So with that in mind I went to do what any other political girl-on-the-go would do...I went to a frat party.
And party I did.
For a total hour and half.
It was real weird cause I went with my semi-Conservative sheltered friend (and like 12 other girls as well) to the Delta T Delta house (but really I could be making the name up, I have no flying fuck of an idea what the house name was). And I not only chugged a large can of beer, but I also danced with this one ugly frat guy just so I could get a rose the frat guys were passing out(and hopefully also an invite to another party). The party its self was out of control, it was something out of a movie. Acutally it sort of looked like a night club, with half naked guys, and skimpily dressed girls. Apparently the party was only for the DTD's and sorority girls, because this guy (let's call him The Ugly One) kept asking me what house I was in, and I was like "Uh Delta..." And The Ugly One just responded with "Oh man you're so beautiful..." Ewww. Yeah like I want The Ugly One telling me something I already know. Ugh, guys and their stupid need to copulate. But anyways after I got a rose from him, and after some drunk guy spilled beer on my pants, I decided it was high time to haul my ass back to my dorm (which is luckily right by Greek Row). So hurrah, I'm glad to be back, and happily still slightly buzzed. Oh yeah- and vote for John Kerry. Viva Pro-Choice!
