Ahhh...the joys of summer!
I'm having a beautiful time with summer. I've been riding my bike almost everyday and enjoying the weaher, even when it rains. I had Sunday off and got to see 2 (count them 2!) movies. Rob and I went and saw Ladykillers at a matinee, Tylerio took me to see Shrek 2, but I forgot my Shrek ears at home, so we have to go again. Also, I got to sleep in past 2 p.m. both days. It was beautiful.
There are a ton of new people at Kafein right now because a few of the managers graduated or were deported and their vacancies must be filled. Also, two of our full timers are gone on a rather scandalous vacation together. So there are five new people at Kafein (Matt, Mike, Kyle, Kourtney, and Emily) and, as the manager 4 nights a week, I have been given the lovely job of training them. It's grand! Matt already quit, Kourtney kicks ass, Emily is a super slow idiot, I haven't met Kyle yet, and I had to yell (more like correct severly, because I never raise my voice at work, or almost ever) Mike a little last night because he was messing up hot drinks a lot and being too slow. by the end of the night, I just wanted to get drunk and make out for a while, but decided to go home and shower and sleep like a good girl. *sighs*
I guess I'm cutting down to two days a week here, so my journal will not be updated so often (please hide your tears). I'm glad though. More beautiful afternoons to spend biking around the city and being crafty. OH!
I spent the majority of my solitary Friday night off making a skirt, and it came out wonderfully. I'm super excited about it. All it needs is a cool blue button. So if anyone has one lying around, just let me know.
