moving

Everyone is moving, or wants to, that's in my generation, anyway. I don't think anyone's parents are moving.

I have no place to live.

That means Ah'm goin' home. Oh, mother, father, how I miss thee. Why did I ever move out in the first place?

Off-hand, three big reasons and a few little ones.

Roommate one has left the state, and roommate two and I get to deal with her stuff and clean. Yay!

But now that I'm going to be going back to school, it's important to be in Berkeley. Being car-less and all.

But, hey, I have a flexible part time job that pays the bills, I have an emotional support network and safety net, and I have concrete plans for the immediate future. I am blessed, in an inescapably sarcastic and cynical way, but happily blessed none the less.

Immediate goal, how does one fit the life's accumulation of four people in one garage?

Brian's moving too.  I found that out today when I called and asked when he wanted that furniture that I said I'd give him when I moved out, that his girlfriend said they wanted. Apparently they are moving, so they don't want it. Mom and Dad were quite interested to hear this news, 'cause apparently they hadn't before.

Children are such leeches. They'll suck the marrow from your bones if you're not careful.

I think I've skipped topics enough for one day.
