Something On My Mind
1 John 3:18
My children, let us not love with words or in talk only. Let us love by what we do and in truth.
I fall short of this verse often. More than often. Frequently.
I was read it this morning and throughout today it kept coming up.
This lesson keeps coming up since the summer. It's convicting to realise how many missed opportunities there have been to reach out to others just going about each day in your life.
I keep thinking about that. The thought just won't leave.
There is that hymn that says "They will know we are christians by our love" and it is true.
God is love.
In Christ, we're called to love without hesitance. We're called to walk in the Light and love our brothers and sisters. We're called to reach out. : )
