What a busy weekend!!
The youth retreat was very good.
It was a really awesome oppertunity to just focus on God and the relationship I have with Him.
The weekend was about the joy we get from having a relationship wiht God, and how much of a treasure that is.
It's so amazing to realise we can never truly grasp how much Christ suffered for us to be forgiven, so that we can have a personal relaitonship with Him.
This weekend I realised, that I had gotten so used to jsut hearing and saying that Christ died for us so that we could be forgiven, that I had almost forgotten how BIG a sacrafice that was. It's unimaginable how great a gift that is, and God has an awesome way of making you realise that.
I learned alot, and have alot of memories to look back on from this weekend. :)
When we got back this afternoon though, everyone hit the ground running.
I got home, took a shower, and then it was back to church for choir.
Choir was fun, but it went by quick.
Then I got home and I had/still have oodles of homework to do.
I'm in the process of writing an English paper.
Yess, the joy of school.
But this weekend was great, and I hope to live out what I learned in these past couple days for the rest of my life.
