Welcoming in 2010
I have to admit that the end of 2009 was the best time I've had for a very long time, and I'm still pleased as punch about it. I got to see friends, get to know new people, be myself and generally just be a loser without having to worry about anything at all (Apart from when I accidentally conked neen11 in the face.) It was just what I needed after a pretty crap year as far as home life/stress goes and I'm hoping my good mood will stick around for a while (It's unlikely, given where I work xD)
I am still wary about playing drums on Rockband, considering how much my arms and leg freaking ached when I finally went to sleep, and all through the next day.
My New Years Resolutions are as follows:
- Stop being so lazy when it comes to art; try and get into backgrounds, poses and set down a CG style in Painter.
- Sort your dolls out. Paisley needs to be figured out or she's going, Hime and Chrys need new outfits, wigs and face-ups and Azure needs to be sorted.
- Work hard and save money.
- Focus on college first and stop being a lazy shit.
- Start on fanart
I also need to get my ass in gear when it concerns college again, I've noticed I've gone back with lax attention and lax dedication to the work. I hardly worked at all Tuesday when we had to do research and our observational sketch afternoon I only got 5 sketches done (albeit I went overboard on crosshatching with those ones). Kew Gardens was cancelled due to the snow yesterday, so I'm hoping we'll get notification on when that is, as there's a big difference between my trip bag and my full college day bag.
My christmas present from dad arrived the day after I arrived in Liverpool, so when I got back I had vouchers to spend. What I got were these:
I got some Harajuku Love perfumes and some clothes from Evans, as well as a new pair of boots.
Also am very sad that I only got to wear my new boots for one day, then it snowed. They have absolutely no grip on them, so I can't wear them in the snow ; ~;
