so. haven't posted since my venture into married life began. hasn't really been much different, except brilliant little reminders here and there. currently blissful.
in other news, apparently wasting no time, we are already working on enlarging our little family.
so, in that vein, (and the reason for my posting) I was reading and watching Israel playing and talking of his elven skills and qualities, and I was wondering, "if a faerie and an orc together make an elf, what will come of a faerie and a fawn?"
the book I'm reading is called 'wicked lovely' which isn't really that good, but it is about faeries in current settings, and they're not teeny little giggly sweet but lightly mischievious creatures. it employs alot of mythology, and the author did her damn research, so I appreciate it.
so, randomly, I stumble across the word "sidhe" which makes my brain light up in all kinds of different departments. ethan and I decided over a year ago that if we ever had a daughter we would name her sidney (though we have discussed many different spellings...) and while sidhe and sidney, are pronounced completely differently, (sidhe = "shee") I being myself immediately took this as a sign, and charged straight for internet research.
however, this has let me down as usual (damn gamers and modern fantasy novels), as all I know now is to avoid iron.
oh well. at least the truth lies present among us.
brain twisting in weirdness of duality.
being pulled back and forth from world to world, being to being.
