All aboard the Doujin Express!

You know, I've missed long-form blogging. I'm really going to try to do more of it!

With that said, here are a few gen/shounen-ai Digimon doujinshis I picked up recently! Lots of images under the cut, some of which are a teeny bit risque, so y'know... view at your own discretion.

Agghblbahgh So many cute things!! I love doujin culture tooooo, and for better or worse, it's had an influence on my perception and experience of Digimon over the years. Actually, definitely for the better. It may be crazy and "out there" sometimes, but the ones I've collected can only serve to enhance, in the end. B-) I just love having the physical evidence that someone out there spent a whole lotta time and effort developing their own little spin-off version of these characters. Especially from those prolific circles.

If my eyes do not deceive me, the doodles on the bottom half of the page in that AtsuAtsu Cook book look a lot like Gin Kemeko/Summer Child doodles... :3

I have a Taichi/Yamato/Daisuke book from that circle, too - I wonder how many variations on that theme she ended up doing. X3

Augh, and I can't say this enough times -- I reeeally want to see what kind of doujinshi end up appearing for Tri, which looks like it's *made* to be fujoushi older fan bait in the first place, haha.

Auuugh, I KNOW!! And maybe because Digimon was my introduction to all of these fun extra things (both official and unofficial) like image songs and doujinshi, but that just makes them seem extra-special to me-- enhancements to the fandom experience, indeed! I'm know for a fact that my silly fangirl imaginings have been affected by what small glimpses I've seen of the larger doujinshi universe X3 ( ... )
