Look what came in the mail today! A sweet haul of sweet merch having to do with (almost) all of the things I care way too much about right now!
Hmm, to listen to the Christmas Bash now, or to wait? (Who am I kidding? It's now officially Christmas in September! Deck the Halls with Pokeballs, baby! Whoo!!) Gravity Falls is for my sister, who I'm very slowly introducing this show to as the DVDs come out, but I'm super-excited about this one because it has a ton of my favorite episodes on it ("Ohmygosh, Mabel! This copier can copy... HUMAN BEINGS!!"). And yes, I finally broke down and bought a Sailor Moon figure (heeelp meee). Jupiter is going to look awesome beating up Ninja Turtles, though XD And even though the English-speaking Spirou fandom is ridiculously small and LITERALLY no one will care about this but me, I have to vent for a second: these albums are coming out SOOOO SLOOOOWLY ARRRRRGH. Two a year, with delays on top of that? Fantasio in a tutu had better be worth the wait, is all I gotta say. But at this pace, we're never going to get to the "good" Franquin albums or into the current Yoann/Vehlmann run or into the side stories or... anything! Do you want me to learn French, Cinebook? Is that what you want?? I'll do it, so help me I will!*
* OK, you called my bluff; I probably won't. But I'll remain sorely tempted, at the very least. Grr!
