It would seem so. Being touched by a Gnosis has that effect. Defeating a Gnosis can sometimes leave behind salt as well. Where have you been to be so surprised over something that has been happening for a week?

My body has something to do with that fact.

I survived because I hardly need nutrients. At that, I was hidden away from these new creatures, and I doubt they would have gotten past the J-Jewel's protection program if they had found me.
