Is that... a song? Something seems different now.

It's still unnecessarily cold. I need to patch up this pathetic excuse of a house if this continues... But I've never tried working with something so primitive as moldy wood.

How annoying.

citrine is not a craftswoman, citrine is not amused, cold weather is cold, what do you mean no nanomachines, still not a fan of snow

Build it out of metal.

... there was something else, now, what was it?

...

Ah, I remember.

You mentioned something about conquering God, earlier? Who were you quoting?

To attain the level of God is merely to step back and understand that this world... all worlds are as substantial as a house made of cards.

I might as well build a completely new home out of metal, then.

As for the quote... Someone here asked about challenging a god which reminded me of--the person I worked for, before I came here. Nothing more.

You may as well. It would be more efficient to live in the lab.

I see. I would have liked to meet him. Perhaps.

The lab... I might consider it. I assume you live there?

...You would. The two of you were similar.

Yes, that is correct. And the golbats live here as well. They tend to roost in the rafters of the second floor.

....

Perhaps you are Mars.

...Ugh, these bats...

Is there a particular reason you're calling me that?

.... They'll require feeding soon.

Mars was one of the commanders of ... what was it called Team Galactic, the organization I led. I thought you were her for a while, but you're not entirely human, if I remember correctly. How ... fortunate for you. It must be an enviable state, born void of conflicting attachments, with a clear purpose to your short life. Would that my organization had been so driven.

....Then I'm not going there.

Not entirely human.. that would be correct, I suppose, although my genetic composition still makes me a human. Your subordinates must have not had enough respect for you and your plans.

How petty of you.

Does it? Give me a sample.

No, it was the ... interference of outside forces. I merely underestimated them. They were also ... overenthusiastic, and took unnecessary risks.
