My cat is too smart
I have a wooden stepladder where the top step opens up to a storage compartment. I've been using it to store spare cat toys. I've learned to keep spare toys on hand because my younger cat is always losing hers.
She recently figured out that there are toys inside the stepladder. And she's learned to lift the step. The first time, it banged closed and scared her off. But since then, she's been working on her technique. Sometimes I'll hear or see her working on it.
Tonight, she finally got it open and got a toy out. I bet she feels very proud of herself right now.
Now I have to keep an eye on the toy stockpile, so it isn't depleted.
