I love this icon! It's Wash from Firefly, playing with his toy dinosaurs. I think the quote, "Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal," is something he actually said on the show while playing with the dinosaurs, but I can't actually remember. It's one of very few icons I have that have text (why is it so hard for me to find icons with text? Have they gone out of vogue lately?), and I use it for when I feel like things have not gone my way. It seems like I mainly use it when I'm annoyed at a website.
This is my icon of Arthur flying through the hotel hallway in Inception. Actually, being thrown down the hallway. Really, I had to have at least one icon of him in the hallway since that's probably the most iconic part of the movie. And I love the coloring and contrast.
This is my writing icon! I mainly use it when I talk about writing and my WIPs. Plus, I love pens and especially fountain pens.
This is Cobb, one of my favorite Inception characters. I already had a few Cobb icons, so did I really need another? Of course I did. I think I chose this one because I really like how the suit blends into the background. I think the actual picture of Cobb here is from when he's on the airplane, so the background is changed. I really like how the icon maker designed this. I like icons with simple lines like this.
This is Margot Tenenbaum from The Royal Tenenbaums. The Royal Tenenbaums is one of my favorite movies, and I love this picture, and I love how it looks like it's been colored to make it look a little more retro than the screenshot probably already did. I have no idea if there was ever a Royal Tenenbaums fandom, but when I saw this icon, I had to grab it.
