chris : why do we celebrate the gunpowder, but not the treason and the plot?!

"fireworks + fishfingers," said fran, so four of us wrapped up warm and stood outside, making shapes in the air with our sparklers and watching the sky explode with colour above our heads.

yes!! don't they! i love sparklers - they make light look liquid! firework night is the best night of all, really, because from hereon in, things become magical. my birthay and christmas and the evenings getting darker and darker, and the sky fades and it gets cold.. i just, i'm in love with it all. + oh, thankyou!! <3

i have never been in england during christmas! i will love seeing all the christmas lights go up, but brrr... i prefer spring! still, it is a gorgeous day today in this little seaside town, and i too am in love with it all! <3 !

I luuurve the fourth from bottom (although I'm secretly quite scared of sparklers)! And the one of you. I've got that Miffy postcard behind you!

Excitement! I spoke to Eliza today for the first time in far too long, and she's desperate to see His Dark Materials too! We really must coordinate this trip, somehow.

i love miffy! i've got a similar postcard lower down (sadly obscured by my gurning visage), which depicts miffy lying down on a crescent moon, in a sky filled with stars. gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous.

scared of sparklers? oh! le tut! i want to buy you those tiny ones from paperchase; dancing around with a sparkler is something that everybody ought to do, regularly!

ohmygoodness, i would love it for the four of us to go. i need to see eliza before she leaves, and we would just have the best time; i can see it. we have to organise this!! typically enough, tim's gone to watch the bloodyflippingstupid matrix. he'll be back in an hour. what sort of date would be best for you (+ for elizabelle)? if it's before christmas i'll need to tell the nice people at HMV that i can't work that day; if it's after then, you know, whenever!! but, oh. excitement! good things are starting to happen. xxxxx

oh, those aren't my colours; all i did was note them down, you know? exeter really is that magical at night! but thank you so much. i've been feeling so disenchanted with my photography lately, so it means the world to hear nice things. x

i like the eighth one because the sparklers do not look like sharp wire. that is what i don't like about sparklers, they look like they could scratch you.

i love the fact the girl is wearing gloves. genius!

i don't think i will be able to meet you on sunday because of a funeral i will probably have to go to. i will know on sunday though so still text me please okay?
