you will not believe your eyes
We went to have wacky hibachi lunch today. The guy messed up once and a ball of rice went flying. It was a little disheartening, mostly for him. He didn't seem the same after that, and we were a little worried he would take the mistake a little too hard. We didn't sign up for hibachi hari-kari, after all.
But it was good overall, especially what with the company picking up the tab. The confusing part for me was when we were given tomato basil soup before, for that's not something I normally associate with Japanese food. And I was a little confused about the huge spoon I was given. Everyone else had normal-size spoons, and I was given some monstrosity. I mean, seriously. What up with this?
In other news, my back and hips are still stiff and in pain. Sometimes I feel like a weak old man, hobbling here and there. It's not pleasant.
