everyone you know someday will die

Another trip has passed, and I'm feeling a little drained right now, so an overview:
  • No problems with the airport because I enforced a very large margin for error. This meant I felt rushed at home and forgot a few things (unimportant things).
  • The return flight sucked. I hate flying. I don't like doing it. I keep telling myself not to do it again, but how can I stop? Anyway, I invariably sit directly behind some jackass who leans way back for the entire flight and next to some big fat fatty of a fat person.
  • Saw a very creepy picture in a dating service ad in the in-flight magazine.
  • Learned to play Euchre.
  • Fluffy white stuff sometimes falls from the sky when it gets cold.
  • The aforementioned stuff is sometimes tricky and makes you fall and hurt your ankle. (note: not the same foot as the last time I slipped and fell and also not as serious)
  • The aforementioned cold is sometimes tricky and makes cars unhelpful. Some things that were planned did not happen. On the other hand, some unplanned things did happen, so it all works out. I like it that way.
  • Went into Detroit proper, finally.
  • Saw the Plain White T's, yet another very enjoyable band with a bad apostrophe in the name. The show was good. The driver was bad.
  • I'm sleeping alone tonight. Ugh.
