So I had driven up to Michigan again, and while I was there, I decided to take a short jaunt over to North Carolina to visit an offshoot of
the Glassell and pick up a course schedule for the next semester, for when I was back here? Maybe?
So I drove over there and found the school, and while I was inside, something distracted me and I was looking for more. And because there was some slight difference between what they knew about me and what was wanted, I had to fill out an application again. And I hate filling out applications (really paperwork in general). But it's a good thing I had to do this because that kept me around long enough to notice
turnip and
semiprecious in the waiting area. And then
door came out of the back because apparently she worked there.
So there was a bit of "hey, good to meet you" and this and that, and the guy working the desk is telling everyone that it's late and it's time to go home. I thought it was odd, but then I jumped up and said "Oh yeah! It's an hour later here!" and we all left. And as we were walking away in the dark, I noticed a large, very dark shape lumbering towards us on the sidewalk. We moved off onto the grass and saw that it was some sort of dump truck backing up. Then it slammed into someone walking ahead of us.
And then I woke up.
One of my first thoughts upon waking was "North Carolina is not that close."
