if you've ever wondered what it's like to be me
I come home to workmen and someone from the office. It took long enough, but they've started working on my father's bathroom. This is good. It means he'll get to stop using mine, but I've been waiting a while for this and it's going to take a few days for them to finish. Until then, what will it be like?
Right now it doesn't look like I can get good, usable water or a steady stream from any other faucet in this place. I come home from work to find I can't wash my face. I come home from work hungry, and it looks like I'm out of luck unless I want to snack on some crap instead of actually getting to make something that involves the use of water, either for washing up or preparation. And I can't nap or relax until they go.
Why is it they'll have workmen inconveniencing me this late in the day, but I have to come home early or stop by in the morning in order to get a package that's been left in the office?
