And so I am back within the States, sitting in the waiting area for gate B6 in Sea-Tac airport, to be exact. Customs was a breeze once again, but airport security found the razor blade I keep in my wallet. Why was it finally found now? Is the security better here? Do I normally not put my wallet in the tray? I can't remember.

Soon enough (seven hours or so), I will be back in Houston with the family, lighting candles and having latkes. Then, my watch will agree with local time. For the time being, I'll continue to be two hours ahead and wait.

On this trip, I have collected SSIDs like candy. (I've also collected Pocky like candy, but that's beside the point.) For quite a long time, my laptop knew of two networks: home and work. Not long before the trip, it learned of a third - the one at my boss's place, named after the company, for it started there, and without WEP even though he's the founder of a security company. Sure. In addition to these three, I have When will I use any of these again?
