The deal on mom's house went through. She's got to be out by the first o June, which shouldn't be a problem...I imagine another 5 or 6 trips this weekend will get it.
M had a severe sinus infection last week, but I think she's about over it. It was bad enough that she let me take her to the doctor on Thursday.
My knee is just about painless now. I have a new found respect for people with chronic knee pain.
draconnisferret, I tried to call yesterday and your phone said you were unavailable...does it still work? I wanted to ask if you had thought about the couch?
I've got to leave for work in a bit. I have my second reader's advisory training session this morning. The first one was really neat. We looked at mainstream fiction. TOday we'll take a look at non-fiction. Pretty broad, I know, but hey, I'll have 2 months before the next session to try to explore a few things I don't normally read. I think all of the fun ones are coming up soon (sci-fi & fantasy, young adult & graphic novels)...I hate that they get lumped together in those catedgories, cause I think there is a lot of difference between sci-fi and fantasy, although there are quite a few authors who blend the two genres...YA and graphic novels are usually short enough that an interested person could read multiples in 2 months and still read what they normally read. After that, I'll have to try my hand at other genres I don't know so well (and haven't liked much in some cases)...it's a growth experience, though.
Thinking seriously about having a yard sale Memorial Day weekend. Anybody want some of my old stuff?

I've been thinking about trying to do ebay, but never liked selling stuff on there in the past. I know a few of you have a system, so let me know what I'm doing wrong.
