sunday afternoon, sean invited jane and me to the pool at his place. i am white as a ghost and tried to get a tan, but nothing happened. absolutely nothing. the last time i got a deep tan was 1988. that was when i didn't care about skin cancer so i used freaking baby oil. anyway, i think i'm just going to have to accept my ghostly pale body. i don't have the patience to just lie in the sun and tanning salons freak me out because people go in and oompa loompas come out.
