While perusing the annals of this site I discovered a page that shall remain nameless. Needless to say the treatment I recieved therein was rude in the extreme. I would not normally bring such a thing up, however It got me to thinking. Where does the British fear of intellectuals come from. A country that has produced some of the finest scientists and thinkers, and given home to many more, has been taken over by the larger drinking essex man.

If there is anyone out there who can explain this to me it would be very much appreciated
