Imagine you have a remote control that will detonate a ship of criminals who have committed unpardonable offences such as mass murders and rapes. Similarly the other ship of criminals can blow up your ship at the press of a button. What would you do? Press the button? What gives you the right to do so? Are you evil by nature?
Good versus the evil self.
Such was a theme that was repeated in the latest blockbuster movie “Batman - The Dark Knight”. The movie was darker than any other superhero movies put together. The entire show was overcast with gloom. Deaths and heroic misery were just secondary. The true reflection on the society’s reality - greed, selfishness were perhaps the primary reasons why I love this show so much.
You can expect non-stop actions from this show and you probably wouldn’t want to go to the loo in case you missed something.
I am not a movie critic, so I won’t go into the technicalities of how well the movie was shot and how good the actors were. But, the show is by far one of the best that I like as far as comic superheroes are concerned.
Oh, by the way, how many of us rally around our heroes (friends) when we don’t need them anymore?
