One of the more important considerations one confronts when trying to establish a new strip is finding the right mix of secondary characters... they need to be interesting enough to help support a daily dose of comedy, without overshadowing the main players.

Unfortunately, I decided to go with a talking TV and a horse-jawed feline... and then wondered why no publisher ever returned my calls. Go figure.
