All you need is love
Today was a love-filled day. I love life. I love vegetables and eating healthy. I love getting exercise and actually having muscles. I love my friends and my family. And I love the hell out of My Chemical Romance. I have never ever felt this way about a band before. It is all encompassing and wonderful and I can feel it throughout my entire body. Love is awesome.
murgatrude came over and we pretty much spent the entire time talking about MCR and watching MCR clips. How glorious that I have created my very own squee buddy. I showed her the making of INOK, which has lost none of its shinyness despite it being my 2183492th time seeing it. I also had her watch the 2005 AOL sessions, because damn they are hot. Gerard spends the entire time flirting with the camera and being completely intense and gorgeous, which makes me melt just a little bit. Or maybe a lot. Seriously, just try to watch Ghost of You and not faint from the hot.
We also went CD shopping (I bough Berth and Santi), and coincidentally, Tegan and Sara were there signing autographs for people. I'm only a casual listener of their music (but I like it!) so I didn't get anything signed, but it was cool anyway. I wore a short skirt, tight tank-top, and heels today (which, if you don't know me, is SO far from a typical outfit of mine) and I flounced about the store while singing along to The Monkees and flailing with murgatrude about various bands like dorks. But pretty dorks. ;)
Tomorrow I'm working and then going to get Harry Potter with bobbyshmoe (\o/). It's likely I won't be around again until I finish it. As the majority of my flist is doing the same, I doubt I'll miss or be missed much, but I figured I should mention it anyway.
